Our Vallejo Branch Is Closing

Dear Befit Members,


During these recent months, we have learned how much can be accomplished for our members virtually. The demand for more convenient ways to bank was validated by data that we studied over the last 18 months. The data shows more and more of our members are utilizing the digital channels in place today such as mobile and online banking, online bill pay, mobile check deposits and signing of documents electronically instead of going into our branches.

To focus on serving you by utilizing today’s technology, we will be creating a virtual branch. This virtual branch will offer extended business hours, additional products and services and a dedicated team of Member Solutions Representatives that will be delighted to serve you. Convenience is key with banking solutions that fit your busy lifestyle.

To transition to this new virtual branch, we have made the strategic decision to close our Vallejo Branch effective November 25, 2020. By opening the virtual branch and closing our Vallejo location, we will be able to re-allocate our financial resources that were used in operating the physical branch into providing enhanced digital services and further improving your member experience.

We are excited for these changes and look forward to all of the opportunities that the new virtual branch will bring. It’s our sole purpose to serve you so you can Be Happy, Be Healthy and Befit Financially.

Yes. Our Vallejo staff will be transferred to our Vacaville Branch.

It will be a mixture of telephone, online banking services, mobile applications, video calls, and online appointment scheduling. More details will be available on the website and emails to follow. If you have not updated your email address with the credit union, please do so by contacting us at 707-557-8900.

Virtual branch hours, effective October 1, 2020 will be:

  • 9:00 am – 5:30 pm, (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri)
  • 10:00 am – 5:30 pm, (Wed)

Yes, Vacaville Branch hours will be extended, effective November 30, 2020 to:

  • 10:00 am – 5:30 pm, (Mon-Thurs)
  • 10:00 am – 6:00 pm, (Fri)
  • Closed for lunch 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm (Mon-Fri)
    • The virtual branch will remain open during lunch hours

Not at this time. Although, we are not ruling out that possibility in the future. You can visit us at our Vacaville Branch, utilize nearly 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs with the CO-OP Network, and access your accounts 24/7 via our convenient telephone, online and mobile banking services.
