Befit Financial Federal Credit Union is preparing for an exciting upgrade to our core banking system.
This upgrade will allow us to deliver a more secure, modern, and flexible banking experience for our members.
To ensure a smooth and successful transition, we want to share a few important dates and pre-conversion reminders!
Temporary Branch & System Closure for the core conversion
Befit Financial Federal Credit Union will be temporarily closed as we complete our core system conversion.
- Closed: Wednesday, July 1 & Thursday, July 2, 2026
- Reopening: Friday, July 3, 2026
During this time, in-branch services and certain digital services may be unavailable as we safely transition systems.We appreciate your patience during this brief closure, as it allows us to ensure accuracy, security, and a strong foundation moving forward.
Preparing for Our New Online Banking Experience
As part of this upgrade, we are introducing enhanced security features, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and separate logins for each account owner. Here’s what’s changing:
- Primary and joint account holders will no longer share a login
- Each individual will have their own username and access
- MFA will require a valid mobile number or email address on file
These changes are designed to better protect your financial health and privacy.
Why Updating Your Contact Information Matters
Having up-to-date contact information on file before the conversion is one of the most important steps members can take to ensure a smooth transition.
Please make sure we have:
- A current mobile phone number
- A current email address
- Updated information for all account owners
Getting ahead of this now will help reduce delays and make it easier to access your accounts once we reopen on July 3, 2026.
