We are moving back to regular lobby hours starting Thursday, 5/14/2020, 10 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.

As we continue to follow CDC and State guidelines in response to the COVID-19 we will be postponing the Annual Meeting that was scheduled for June 18, 2020. We will update you with the new date once it has been selected.

Dear Members:

Spring is here – and it’s much different than any of us could have imagined. Usually, spring is a time to enjoy baseball games, 5Ks, planting and long hikes. It seems like just yesterday we were making plans for spring getaways, graduations, maybe a reunion or a barbeque. Instead, we are dealing with a pandemic.

We know many of our members are dealing with the minute-by-minute changes and we want you to know that our team here at Befit is here for you. We thank you for everything you do to care for others. You and our staff are our number one concern. And because of that, we will changing our branch hours effective Tuesday March 24, 2020 to 10 am to 3 pm Monday through Friday.

Stress can be high right now with everything that is happening and the uncertainty of what lays ahead…and, we want to help keep your finances manageable. We know this crisis may be impacting you and your family members. We are here to help and have many resources to help guide you through these difficult times. If you find yourself in need of assistance please reach out to us. Please remember to utilize the mobile app, online banking and of course you can contact us from 10 am to 5 pm by calling us at 707-557-8900After hours services such as your Debit, Credit Card, Mortgage and Bill Pay departments are still available. 

Checkups aren’t only for your physical and mental wellbeing, but for your financial health as well. Schedule an appointment for a financial wellness review by emailing our own financial wellness advisor Jackie Brown, or calling us at 707.557.8900 ext. 117. Jackie can conduct this free Wellness Check up with you by phone or online via Zoom appointments for your convenience.

Befit Financial Federal Credit Union believes our members are like family. And like you, we’ve been focused on doing all the things we need to do to keep our families safe and healthy. As your BFF credit union, we are here for you when you need us the most.

Given growing concerns around the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), we are taking this opportunity to update you on our readiness plan. The health and safety of our members, employees, and community is our top priority. We will continue to follow guidance from federal, state and local agencies, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other health organizations. Here is an update regarding extra safety measures we have put in place along with tips to help you access your accounts.

For Our Members

  • Your funds are safe and secure and are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).
  • Befit Financial Federal Credit Union has greatly enhanced our members’ remote access to their accounts over the years. Most everything you can do at a branch can be done remotely 24 hours a day and seven days a week. If you are not sure, please contact Member Care.
    • Utilize Online and Mobile Banking*. To download Mobile Banking, please click here for Apple or Android.
      • Deposit checks and transfer funds between accounts here at BFFCU or elsewhere.
      • Use Bill Pay, pay a person or transfer money to another financial institution, instead of using cash transfers will take 1-2 business days.
    • Utilize the convenience of our online deposit and loan application systems on our website to apply for deposit, loan, and mortgage accounts.
    • Utilize Contact Us on our website, email us at or call Member Solutions Representative. Please be aware that this may impact hold times due to increased volume.
    • Visit Co-Op ATM
  • Protect yourself from scams. If we reach out to you, we won’t ask for confidential information such as your name, password, personal identification number (PIN), or other account information.
  • Please follow the CDC’s suggested hygiene practices to reduce the spread of the virus.

In Our Branches

  • Increasing janitorial disinfecting and services:
    • Cleaning commonly used areas more often, including surfaces doorknobs, phones, handrails, counters, and ATMs
    • Sanitizing restrooms more frequently and restocking with supplies, including soap, paper towels
  • Adding extra hand sanitizer at teller stations
  • Suspending use of coffee machines
  • Partnering with our suppliers to replenish high-demand preparedness products

For Our Team Members

  • Building awareness around preventing the spread of disease
  • Closely monitoring health and well-being
  • Providing hand sanitizer and tissues in breakrooms and meeting rooms
  • Asking them to stay home if they, or someone in their household, are sick
  • Suspending all non-essential business travel and attendance at public meetings
